Fred's Blog: Day 10: January 3 ... a Saturday in Seville

I regret not planning to spend more time here. Seville has vibrant street life, great food, warm, friendly people ... and oh so many sites to visit and explore.

I'll start with a few videos showing how alive this city is. No doubt, the holidays ... Christmas through January 6, el Día de los Reyes (The Day of the Kings or Maji) ... have added to the festive nature of street life at this time of the year. In Spain, children typically receive presents on el Día de los Reyes, rather than on Christmas, though this tradition has changed lately, and children now receive presents on both days. Stores everywhere are packed, and holiday festivities are ongoing, in the streets and plazas, in the churches ... and I would assume at home.
