After
the incident several weeks ago where a Korean Air executive on a NYC to Seoul
flight ordered the plane back to the gate because the Service Director on board
served her a package of nuts vs nuts in a dish .... I'm happy to report that my
nuts were served in a dish. (Wipe that grin off your face. .... you know
who you are!)
Really impeccable service in KLM Business, I would say.
Seat 4E
Proof that my nuts did arrive in a dish. No need to turn back. The wine was Map Maker, Pinot Noir 2014, Marlborough, New Zealand. Very very nice.
I don't think the following pics do justice to the food that was served ...
Appetiser & Salad. Menu reads: smoked Salmon tartare with cucumbers and sour cream, mesclun salad with feta cheese .... and olive oil on the side for bread. I finished it all.
Main course. My choice: sliced chicken thigh accompanied by green onion butter, sweet potato and zucchini.
Dessert. I don't remember.
Breakfast. Menu reads: mushroom strata .... don't know what a strata is, but it was good. Served with REAL orange juice, yogurt, ham and cheese.
